We begin by comparing notes on our wine tasting excursions to narrow down the field for “the one”—that one exquisite flavor to match each recipe; the taste that will work best to bring out the true nature of aromas being used in our cakes.  Our wines are selected from various Napa Valley wineries on the west coast and an award winning winery in Central Indiana.  Over the years we have carefully blended the wines with our cake recipes until the perfect combination of flavors and aromas was achieved.  The consistency of the wine cakes has been delicately perfected, keeping the wine content even throughout the cake.  Early on we decided that a carefully disciplined measurement process was in order to prevent oversaturation of the cakes, thus bringing out a perfectly moist wine cake.  The shelf life is extraordinarily long for our cakes thanks to the naturally preserving antioxidant properties of wine. 

The best of cakes have achieved the cake-eater’s trifecta, the mysterious combination of three areas of cake perfection, resulting in a smile that only good cake can give you.  We have found the best way to make this smile appear time and again is by achieving the pinnacle in taste, texture, and quality.  The combinations of our fresh, quality ingredients consistently produce a cake that is tested and true.  Each slice is a perfectly balanced taste of delectable cake and the wine we have found complementing that flavor.  Each bite is perfectly moist, smooth, and melts in your mouth.
